Viewpoint’s most popular camera, Sony’s PXW-FS7 XDCAM Super 35 Camera System is a flexible 4K camera system. Featuring a Super 35mm sensor, it allows you to capture images with cinematic depth of field. The camera’s E-mount allows you to use E-mount lenses or with the use of optional adapters, PL, EF lenses. The camera can capture footage to optional on board XQD media cards in either UHD at up to 60 FPS or HD at up to 180 FPS. The camera can capture 4K (4096 x 2160) images and send the signal out over its SDI or HDMI connectors. Most notably, the Sony PXW-FS7 features the ability to shoot in S-Log and with an optional extension unit can shoot 4K Raw or the coveted Apple ProRes Formats.

Pickup Procedures
Pickup time is Monday-Friday 2:00 pm-4:30 pm the day before your rental starts. Rental needs to be returned by 10 am the day after your rental. For after business hours or weekend returns, we have a secure lockbox. We will provide you with a custom code to access the lockbox. If your rental requires prep time in the VPS Shop, please schedule time when booking your equipment.
